Building Update!

On December 12,  the Comprehensive Neighborhood Planning Committee of the St. Paul Planning Commissioners voted 5-0 NOT to support the historic designation of TCGIS! This recommendation now goes to the full board of planning commissioners this Friday morning, December 14, who will take this vote into consideration as they make their final decision.
Your Attendance Needed on December 20th!

On December 20th the St Paul Zoning Committee will hold a public hearing to review TCGIS's Site Plan as well as its variance requests for its proposed new building.

It's critical that the Zoning Committee members hear loud and clear from TCGIS supporters (parents, friends, staff, teachers, neighbors) that there is strong support for our variance requests and support for the site plan.

Therefore, your attendance at this meeting will be critical, regardless if you live in St Paul or D10. This meeting will take place on
December 20 at 3:30 in Room 300, St Paul City Hall Council Chambers, 15 West Kellogg Blvd. It is important that we get as many people to attend this meeting as possible in a show of support for TCGIS's proposed new building.
Child care at TCGIS will be provided via Kinderclub - and will be extended until 7 pm to allow for parents to attend.

On Dec 12 the Facilities Committee emailed and asked for your support in writing letters to the Zoning Committee by 12 noon on Dec 13 so those letters could be included in the commissioner's meeting packets ahead of the Dec 20 meeting.  For those who were not able to write a letter in time, you can still write a letter of support, which will be given to the commissioners, but will not be included in the pre-meeting packet.  In order to facilitate the letter writing, we're providing you with supporting details in the form of a template letter to help you, which you can access  here

If you write a letter, please make sure to email this letter to our assigned planner, Josh Williams ( josh.williams@ci.stpaul.mn.us  ) and Tia Anderson ( Tia.Anderson@ci.stpaul.mn.us)  of the Planning Commission, and also to copy the D10 Chair (  district10@district10comopark.org and Maggie Zimmerman ( zimmermanstp10@gmail.com ).

Thank you for all you do to support TCGIS!
