Beloved of God,
The holiday season is often about reconnecting - with family, with friends, and with our gracious, loving God. In these next two weeks before Christmas, I hope you will take time for that reconnecting.
This Sunday during worship you will be able to connect with your church family through the Children's Christmas play, "Super Christmas." The following Sunday, December 22, stay after worship to make lefse with your brothers and sisters in Christ. Both will be joy-filled experiences!
You can reconnect with God through Advent by Candlelight on Wednesday evenings at 7pm, regular worship at 9am on Sundays, and beautiful Christmas services at 4pm and 10pm on Christmas Eve.
Please, also take some time to think about how you would like to see our community grow together in the new calendar year. We're taking on a project creating promises we can make to each other about how we will treat one another.
It starts with brainstorming around a question: what is Y(our) Vision of the Golden Rule? Visit the station in the Narthex to add your thoughts. Be as specific as you can! To get you thinking, consider personal interactions, what happens when there is a conflict, and how we should approach our assumptions about one another.
Please take a look at the article in last week's Refresh and ReNEWS for more information. And please talk with me, Arlie Post, Dale Brainerd, or any Council member about this important work for St. Paul Lutheran Church!
Peace to you!
