The Angel’s Song
8 And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. 9 An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. 10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news that will cause great joy for all the people. 11 Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord. 12 This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
13 Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
14 “Glory to God in the highest heaven,
and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests.”
15 When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.”
16 So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 17 When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been told them about this child, 18 and all who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them. 19 But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. 20 The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told. COG Kids Christmas Celebration
Every Sunday during the 10:30 service, we will be in-person with Christmas crafts, Bible stories, lighting the advent candles and other fun activities. Christmas Eve Candlelight Service:
We will have two Christmas eve services on December 24th. We are asking you to click here to reserve your spots for either the 4:00 pm or 5:00 pm service. We will also stream the 5:00 pm service for those who choose to watch from home.
Lottie Moon Missions Offering:
Lottie Moon was a Southern Baptist Missionary to China in 1885-1912. She was instrumental in the creation of the Women's Missionary Union, where today there are over a million members. This said, we are doing our annual fundraising and this year, our goal is $7500.00. I know that we can do this church. These funds go (100%) to help missionaries all over the world. Please enjoy this quick video for information. If you are writing a check, please specify in the memo line it is for Lottie Moon.
Community Toy Drive: We know that 2020 has been hard on our community and we are going to help make Christmas a little brighter. We are asking Community of Grace and our extended Community to donate new unwrapped toys, games, and clothes for children ages 6 months thru 16 years old. We would like to provide wrapping paper and or Christmas bags if possible. We will be collecting these gifts from December 6th - 20th at the Community of Grace office and then handing them out to those in need on December 22nd and 23rd from 9:00 am - 12 pm and 4 pm - 7 pm. We have flyers printed for you to take and give to your neighbors in the foyer. If you have questions or want to help out, email Anita@communityofgrace.com.

Child Evangelism Fellowship:
Good News Club meetups will be every third Thursday from December thru January at COG from 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm. This group is for elementary-aged children.
