Our upcoming children’s musical, Arrest These Merry Gentlemen, will be performed during the 10:00 service this Sunday, December 21!

Arrest These Merry Gentlemen is a joyful, playful take on the Christmas story — a caper set in Bethlehem where Sergeant Joe Sabbath, the town’s peace officer, tries to keep things quiet… until a band of shepherds arrives full of wild stories of angels, a mysterious baby, and a celebration that changes the world. Get ready for laughs, music, and a whole lot of Christmas spirit during the 10:00 service!

Because we'd love all the kids to watch their friends on stage, Children's Sunday School will not meet, but nursery care will be available for kids under five.

Feeling the holiday overwhelm? You’re not alone. December can be magical—but also a lot. If you’re carrying stress, grief, or just feeling worn out, we invite you to our Longest Night Service—a calming, candlelit space to breathe, rest, and simply be.

With soft music, gentle prayer, and room for quiet reflection, this service offers peace in the middle of a busy season. You don’t have to be “okay” to come. Just come as you are and find a moment of light in the longest night. The service will be in the Sanctuary this Sunday, December 21, at 4:00 p.m. Stephen Ministers will also be available following the service for further prayer and conversation.

Let’s spread some Christmas cheer together! Members of the Celebration Chorale are heading to Friendship Village this Saturday to sing beloved carols—and we’d love for you to come along.

We’ll lift our voices in the lobby and then share music and smiles with some of our Dayspring friends in the Health Care Center. Your presence will truly make the season brighter!

Meet at the Dayspring parking lot at 1:40 p.m. on Saturday. (Please note: parking at Friendship Village is extremely limited due to construction.)

• 3:00pm @ Dayspring Arcadia is an intimate and welcoming celebration.

• 3:00pm - Early Service: our solo quartet sings beloved Christmas hymns and anthems with nursery care available.

• 5:00pm - Family Christmas Eve service: Led by Pastor Michael, this service is fun, casual, sometimes chaotic - everything Christmas should be! Featuring performances by the Dayspring Children’s and Youth choirs, professional childcare is available if needed.

• 8:00 & 10:00pm - Candlelight Communion service: The Dayspring Celebration Chorale and chamber orchestra will lead these magical Christmas Eve services, filling the sanctuary with beautiful music and the wonder of the season.

We are again collecting diapers, especially larger sizes 3 & 5, for AZCEND (Chandler Community Action Program). How fitting that we collect diapers as we celebrate the birth of a child!

Join us for our Second Annual Christmas Brunch from 8am to Noon! Bring a dish to share; Pastor Michael is making pancakes and we’ll provide coffee, and juice. This open house is for anyone looking for community on Christmas Day. We hope to see you at this time of fellowship and food - it’s sure to be a festive time!

Now Hiring: Part-Time Office Administrator / Volunteer Coordinator

We are seeking a part-time Office Administrator and Volunteer Coordinator. John Epps has served faithfully and with great care in this role for the past few months and will be moving back to Colorado in February. He will remain available until then to ensure a smooth transition and provide training.
