Invitation for a Bird Walk in Juno Dunes West Conservation Area

When: December 18th, 2024, Wednesday at 3:30 p.m.

Where: Meet at Bert Winters Park 13425 Ellison Wilson Road, on the bleachers in the South Parking lot, the trail head is across the road from the park. Walk is on a sand trail. Suggest: appropriate footwear & binoculars. 

Featuring Benji Studt  of Palm Beach County’s Environmental Resource Management (ERM) team. He will guide a bird walk in our unique native coastal scrub area with a focus on the diverse habitats of freshwater mangrove wetlands, willow wetlands, palmetto scrub, oak scrub and the pines. We will spot and talk about our migratory swallow tail kites, resident osprey, and our colorful warblers.

• January 15, 2025 -10am Pelican Lake Tour - Benefits of Going Native, meet at North Gazebo, for hosts Debra Levulis, horticulturalist and Ross Wilcox, biologist, who will provide a tour of Pelican Lake's plants and birds
• February 22-23, 2025 - Turtle Fest at the Loggerhead Marine Life Center, from 10am - 4pm stop by to see our booth
• March 12, 2025 - Loggerhead Marine Life Center Speaker at 3pm on Water Quality, come early for a self-guided tour of the facility prior to joining us in the auditorium at the Marine Life Center
• April 2025 - Arbor Day Celebration 25th and Pelican Lake Fishing Tournament 26th (details to follow)
