Campus Safety Article on Inadequate placement of AED and Bleeding Control Supplies

Campus Safety Magazine's recent article " Inadequate Placement of AED and Bleeding Control Gear Could Cost You" addresses the consequences of improperly placed equipment and untrained staff. However, it also provides information on how to solve these issues, including leadership, practice, and technology systems
The article also highlights the 3-minute window for resuscitating individuals and controlling bleeding, stating "if a person experiencing cardiac arrest can be resuscitated with an automated external defibrillator (AED) within three minutes, he or she has a much better chance of surviving. If a gunshot victim can be provided treatment to stop their severe bleeding within three minutes, their chances of survival greatly increase as well."
