For over 100 years “A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols”has been a time to slow down and participate or sit and reflect on Christ’s birth as it is presented by a scripture reading followed by one or more carols.
It has been heard from King’s College Chapel, Cambridge, UK, where it originated, and will be broadcast live on December 24, to a tent on the foothills of Mt. Everest.
Take time during this fast paced, often stressed time of year to hear what the angels proclaimed to the shepherds more than 2000 years ago.
