Glamping in Luxury


Lightship, a Colorado company will introduce the L1 luxury camping trailer in 2025. The L1 has an 85kWh battery pack that provides power for both on-board HVAC/Appliance/Lighting energy and a drive axle on the trailer so the towing vehicle does not lose range.

Postal EVs Behind Schedule

Solid State Auto Batteries by 2026?


Factorial, with contracts from Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz and Stllantis, claims to have developed several energy saving manufacturing systems and has tested their solid state batteries in over 2,000 charge cycles. They will be supplying Stellantis pre-commercial scale deployment batteries for a fleet of Dodge Charger EVs.

Hydrogen H2 ICEs


Toyota, Volvo, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawasaki and several other companies are working on ICE engines fueled by hydrogen as very low emission and very low GHG technologies.

CARB Verifies Line Haul Locomotive


CARB has verified a 4,500hp Progress Rail line haul locomotive to their current most stringent emission standards for PM, NOx, CO and HC. The locomotive uses cooled EGR and high-pressure common rail fuel injection.
