"You must live in the present, launch yourself on every wave, find your eternity in each moment." - Henry David Thoreau
Imagine yourself catching a massive wave, flawlessly riding it all the way to the shore. Crowds of people cheering, the sun shining brightly, the feeling of great accomplishment...
There's only one problem. You have to love surfing in the ocean to imagine riding the perfect wave.
But waves can symbolize hopes or fears. Now imagine yourself conquering a fear. Facing it head on, progressing all the way to the finish line. Now, anything is possible.
This painting is called Wave because it represents perseverance. The wave-like colors and abstract movement appear to roll over with force and magnitude. It proves that we can be victorious over our fears therefore giving us hope.
