Healthy Active School Symposia: Seed Funding

Remember, funding is available to support student ideas! In an effort to support ideas, school teams have the opportunity to apply for the chance to receive up to $500. With this support, it is our hope to help expand the amazing ideas that students often have, and to limit the barriers that occasionally occur along the way.

Sharing Dance in the Classroom

Ever Active Schools has been working closely with Canada's National Ballet School - a charity that is one of the world's foremost training institutions for aspiring young dancers and teachers - to support a pilot of Sharing Dance in Alberta schools. Using a comprehensive school health approach, Sharing Dance enables schools to enrich learning experiences by teaching through dance, while concurrently partnering with school mentors to build teacher capacity. If your school is interested in piloting Sharing Dance in the Classroom, or is looking for further information on these cross-curricular resources, please contact Sharing Dance, follow them on twitter and visit their website.
