No Gifts Please-It's the Law

As the holiday season approaches, Ohio Deferred Compensation reminds employers, vendors, and other business contacts not to send gifts. The Program's staff are public employees subject to certain restrictions under Ohio Ethics Law. Program staff cannot accept articles of value, including gifts, travel, meals, or lodging from parties doing, or seeking to do business with, or interested in matters before the Program.

Please do not send any gifts to the Program office or to individual staff members. Any gifts will be returned as refused, no matter how minimal in nature. We ask all current and potential business partners to adhere to these Ohio Ethics mandates.

Your understanding and cooperation are appreciated.
