Training Consortium of South Central Kentucky
2017 Schedule to be Released in January
The Training Consortium of South Central Kentucky represents over 9,900 employees through 57 member companies.

This January, the Consortium will kick-off the Excel Certificate Program's sixth cohort and the Group Leader Certificate Program's seventh cohort. February 2017 will mark the beginning of the Supervisor Certificate Program's 11th cohort.

Hope House Route to the Transpark: 
Hope House Ministries is starting public bus service Jan. 3 from its West 10th Avenue location to the Transpark. Read the Bowling Green Daily News article here

Legislative Update: 
Right to Work
On December 8th, CEO Ron Bunch made a presentation on Warren County's Right to Work experience to members of the General Assembly during the House Majority Caucus Retreat. As the first county in the country to pass a local Right to Work ordinance, Bunch is well positioned to talk to our legislators about the importance of Right to Work legislation. The General Assembly convenes on January 3rd for a short 30 day legislative session where Right to Work is expected to pass. 
Legislative Agenda
On December 13th, the Chamber Board of Directors approved the Chamber's 2017 Legislative Agenda, which details the Chamber's position on state and federal issues. Included in this year's agenda:
  • Improvement of the Regional Transportation System
  • Improvement of Regional Water and Sewer Capacity
  • Improvement of Regional Site Location Competitiveness
  • Improvement of Kentucky Transpark
  • Improvement of Education; WKU and SKYCTC
