Joseph Carroll (BS in Biochemistry, 2007) I graduated from the University of Arizona Medical School in 2012 and then moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan to pursue further training in general surgery. I am now in my final year. Next summer I will move to Las Vegas to start a fellowship in trauma surgery and surgical critical care.
Russell Brewer (BS in Chemistry, 2008) I am employed at BASF Mining Solutions based in Tucson as a Project Chemist in their Innovation Group. My colleagues and I work to provide novel practicable solutions to the mining industry, with specific focus to those that encourage sustainable development of the world's resources. Mining chemistries of interest to me include solvent extraction (hydrometallurgy), leaching, solid liquid separation, electrowinning, and agglomeration.
Alysha Inez Coppola (BS in Chemistry, 2008) I completed my PhD at UC Irvine in Earth system science (doing ocean biogeochemistry), and then moved in January to Zurich, Switzerland, to do a postdoc at the University of Zurich.
Erica Luiten (BS in Biochemistry & MCB, 2008) My husband Kenneth and I are proud parents of Eleanor Grace Luiten, born September 11, 2016 at 9 lbs, 7 oz.
Adam Stott (BS in Chemistry, 2010) For the past 6 years I have been a R/D chemist with PPG Aerospace in Los Angeles. I am a new product development scientist, specializing in sealants and coating for commercial and military aircraft.
