The VOS 2018 Conference at Snowmass Village Is Just Around the Corner!

Season's greetings, VOS members!

2017 is drawing to a close, and that means our annual VOS conference is just around the corner. Maybe this year will be the year you win the Biomedtrix Acetabular cup or get called up on stage to be hypnotized or get your tie cut because you do not understand proper VOS attire. You will never find out unless you register which you can do right now by clicking here.

Book all your travel needs, including airport transportation, lift tickets and lodging through Penny Smith at Ski.com ( [email protected]) or by clicking here. This way you will not only get the best deal for yourself, but this also ensures that we all get the best deal for the group. For those of you who are flying, Denver International airport (DEN) and Aspen/Pitkin County Airports (ASE) are the two closest airports. For those of you who are planning to drive, use Google maps and be careful!

Wondering what Snowmass has to offer? Here's a preview from the website:

Snowboarding at Snowmass "Winter is what Snowmass is known for, and deservedly so. The snow is light and plentiful, and the mind-boggling variety of terrain on the mountain's 3300 acres means you'll never get bored. There are cruisers, glades, steeps, terrain parks, and halfpipes for any skill level, as well as a world-famous ski school that can take any skier to the next level - whether it's your first time in boots, or you're an expert in the chutes. If you're not into downhill, there are miles of Nordic trails, as well as hot tubs and sunny decks."

Stay tuned for more information on the program, our speakers, and all the peri-conference events we have in store for you!

Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!

Book your lodging as soon as possible to get the dates and space you want at the best price!

Westin Hotel
The Westin
The Wildwood
The Wildwood
Just a reminder that the hotel lodging that we have at Snowmass Village is right at the Conference Center that VOS will be using. The Westin is the luxury hotel property, and the rates include the resort fees and taxes. The Wildwood is the value property that has a good location almost as close as the Westin but is more of a "motel atmosphere." They will have a continental breakfast included along with the taxes and resort fees at the Wildwood (also listed as Holiday Inn Express on the website).

Condominiums are very limited near the conference center - if you don't see anything that works on the website, please email me at [email protected]. However if you want to be conveniently located to the Conference Center, you will want to book the Westin or the Wildwood. They also have complimentary transportation from the Aspen Airport to the hotels.
