This month, the Penfield Business Chamber is pleased to highlight Just Games Rochester, LLC.
  Just Games Rochester LLC is Rochester's friendly, neighborhood, game store. They carry role-playing games, board games, card games, Magic: The Gathering, miniatures, paints and accessories, and much more. They have a full range of all the games you want to play, and some that may be new to you. In fact, there are over 1000 titles in stock, and they carry the largest selection of custom dice on the East Coast.

Tree Lighting  
                                  Monday, December 4th  
5:30 PM -  Tree Lighting in Penfield's Four Corners  
                    6-9 PM  - Annual Holiday Party at Bistro 1778  
                                    1778 Penfield Road, Penfield NY 
Join us to celebrate the 2017 holiday season with our Annual Holiday Party, Monday, December 4th from 6PM-9PM.   A cash bar and hors d'oeuvres will be provided.

Share some holiday cheer with fellow PBC members, local business leaders and friends. We will also honor this year's Penfield Pride Winner, Aspenleiter Vacuum.

This event is FREE for Members and $12 per person for Non-Members and Guests. 
Before the party, join fellow PBC Members as we light up the tree at 5:30 PM in the Four Corners of Penfield.  Then walk (or drive) over to Bistro 1778 immediately afterward.

In addition, we are looking for non-perishable donations for the Penfield Ecumenical Food Shelf. Please consider bringing one of the following needed items:
  • Baked beans / pork n' beans
  • Tea
  • Macaroni and cheese
  • Pudding and jello
  • Mayonnaise
  • Coffee
  • Canned Soup


Jeff Adair, Imagine Monroe

On January 25th, the Penfield and Brighton Chambers of Commerce will jointly host a lunch presentation by Jeff Adair, Monroe County's Chief Economic Development Officer and Executive Director of Imagine Monroe, Monroe County's Industrial Development Agency. 

Jeff will speak about Monroe County's economic development programs-- including the new "LadderzUP" job training program and the "Recruiting on the Road" job fairs. This is also a great opportunity to discuss with Jeff issues that you encounter working in or owning a business in Monroe County.

Penfield Symphony Concert Dec. 4th

Penfield Symphony Orchestra's second concert of its PSO Logo season, "Music To Warm Your Heart," will take place on December 4th, 2017, at 7:30PM.  This performance includes works by Falla, Tchaikovsky, and Handel, as well as seasonal favorites.

RepARTee Gallery Exhibits "Tree Hugs" Through Dec. 14th

Penfield artist Kristina Hutch Matthews presents "Tree Hugs: A Celebration of the Wisdom and Healing Energy of Trees as a Guide for Humanity."  This exhibit combines the pen and ink artistry of Matthews' works with a guided meditative tour.  This exhibit is free and open Thursdays 1-4, Fridays 1-4 and Saturdays from 2-5.  For more information, visit .

PBC Holds Annual Meeting and Economic Development Presentation Nov. 8th 
The Penfield Business Chamber held its Annual Meeting and Economic Development Presentation on November 8th.  Penfield Town Supervisor, Tony LaFountain, and Director of Business Development, Jim Costello, gave an excellent presentation on current business development in the Town of Penfield and ongoing projects like the Shadow Pines Golf Course.

During its Annual Meeting, PBC President Jen Novy thanked outgoing Board Treasurer Matt Rollins and Board Secretary Sandra Swanson, for their service to the PBC Board of Directors.
