VW SETTLEMENT FUNDING UPDATE

On November 28, 2017, the State of Florida elected to become a Beneficiary under the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust Agreement by submitting the  completed Certification Form  to Wilmington Trust, N.A., the court-appointed Trustee. The Certification designated the Department of Environmental Protection as the Lead Agency in Florida for purposes of participation in the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust.

Fleets for the Future

Fleets for the Future & National Joint Powers Alliance has partnered to increase the deployment of alternative fueled vehicles and their necessary infrastructure.

Local governments, school districts, universities and public agencies are encouraged to participate to save money on purchasing clean vehicles. By working alongside Fleets for the Future they will receive their orders sooner, save time by working with experts who specify the vehicles best suited for your needs and who will negotiate the BEST price.

The National Joint Powers Alliance has 5 newly-awarded vendor contracts that participants will have access to. Also, The Massachusetts's VEH102 Contract offers bulk and accelerated time-frame discounts for purchased orders submitted through it.

In 2018, there will be additional special offers to the list of vehicles available through their manufacturers and their National Auto Fleet Group Vendors. The list includes vehicles from Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan, Volkswagen, BMW and others.
