Eric Svaan of Michigan Ross and Stephanie Tharp of Stamps Art & Design taught this Fall's Integrated Product Design (IPD) course, culminating in a competitive trade show featuring six innovate products that allow consumers to perform common two-handed tasks using only one hand. Multipurpose pocket-sized Flip Grip took home the most votes from the competition. The student teams from Stamps Art & Design, Michigan Ross, College of Engineering, and School of Information developed a wide variety of solutions for common activities such as eating, carrying, cleaning, and wearing contact lenses.
