Kidney and Bladder meridians,
will be at its peak between 3 and 7 pm on Friday, December 21st. Our regular Friday clinic will be starting with the Water Treatment between 2:00-3:30pm, for those who want to partake of its benefits. The regular clinic will resume, 3:30-7pm.
The Water element supports and addresses problems within the
deepest core of the self

bones, constitution, DNA, genetic inheritance
, etc... The winter is the season where the earth renews itself at the deepest level and gets ready for the outburst of spring. The same rich and fertile dormancy happens with our body, mind and spirit. Winter is
a time to rest and renew
.
Fear
is the prevalent emotion of water. But in response to fear,
a strong will
,
perseverance
and
grit
arise, and can be supported. I want to emphasize how the Chinese do not see differences between our emotions, our body and our mind. They are all closely related and affect one another constantly.
So, there it is: our water element affects our genetic inheritance, our capacity to endure, our bones and teeth, our hair, our ability to fight chronic diseases, our nose and capacity to smell (and perhaps intuit out way through difficult situations).
Look at
the actions of water on rocks
. It might take centuries but most elements bow to the power of water. With rising oceans and tsunamis, we can see its unstoppable raw power. But perhaps we can also see how unstoppable dedication and will power are a powerful way to respond to challenges presented by the Water element, in all of its forms.

. You do not need to be a regular client at the clinic, and all are welcome to apply. The treatment points are the water points* (BL 66 and KI 10) on the bladder and kidney meridians. They are located on the knees and feet.
*As we have mentioned in previous constitutional element treatment articles, every meridian has a specific point that affects each of the five elements, e.g., an earth point, a water point, a metal point, etc.
Therefore, treating the Water points on the associated Water meridians is the most powerful treatment to help balance this element in your body, and especially at the time of year when the seasons change, and the time of day when those meridians are most active.
