Sheri Keene, Certified Escrow Officer & Escrow Manager at First American Title Insurance Company , has been elected and installed as the 2019 President of the San Diego County Escrow Association for a second term. The San Diego County Escrow Association is a local branch of the California Escrow Association and the American Escrow Association. Membership in these associations facilitates educational opportunities for the real estate, title and escrow industry, as well as a political platform to give a practical opinion to bills that affect our industry on a local, state and national level.

As part of a 19-year-long Christmas holiday tradition, employees of Cavignac & Associates, donated to those less fortunate in the community, giving more than $21,000 out of their own paychecks to a number of local nonprofit organizations. “The Charity Fund committee members research various organizations before selecting the ones they are most passionate about and feel are doing the greatest good”, stated Kelly Potter, account executive at Cavignac. This year's donations increased 17% over last year's.

Xpera Group has promoted 30-year building industry veteran Steve Grimes to the role of President. Founder Ted Bumgardner will now serve as chairman and focus on growing Xpera’s construction forensics business. The moves come as the construction and real estate consulting firm kicks off its 10 ^th anniversary year in 2019.
