Two Discipleship Resources for Classrooms, Families
Created by Julianne Stanz, this document originally went out as a Compass in the Classroom publication centered on the new evangelization and missionary discipleship. Includes 10 ways to grow as a disciple of Jesus, worksheet, and Disciple's Prayer.
Based on the Compass in the Classroom piece (left), this small parent packet is designed for DRE's to give to parents to do alongside their children. It outlines the discipleship process using the language of Discover-Follow, etc.

CUPCAKE WARS FOR YOUTH GROUPS
Friday, January 11th at Nativity Parish, Green Bay
This the first of what hopefully will become an annual event in which youth groups in the Diocese of Green Bay will meet, compete and have fun. The more people you invite to attend, the better your chances of winning!

Celebrity judges include Bishop Ricken! People's Choice Award will also be presented, along with prizes (including cash for your Youth Group).

Four Easy Steps . . .

  1. Choose which class to host (Bible; Creed; Sacraments & Liturgy; Prayer & Spirituality; Morality; Methods)
  2. Secure an instructor (list of possibilities available at gbdioc.org/fcctrainers)
  3. Set calendar and invite people (catechists, teachers, parish members)
  4. Contact Education Department for assistance with preparations.

This is the Diocese of Green Bay's third year to host host our own local mission experience for middle- and high-schoolers based right in our own communities, Love Begins Here (LBH).

Check out the dates and locations for the summer 2019 season and start thinking of the possibilities!
