SAWS Performs Random Inspections
In the fourth quarter of 2018, the SAWS quality Assurance and Revenue Protection team began conducting random inspections of new home construction sites and found that some developers/contractors had not yet set up proper service (accounts) through SAWS, and were using water services without paying impact fees. SAWS would like to remind developers to contact Counter Services at (210) 233-2009 if they are unsure of the proper procedure for meter installation. You can reach Counter Services via email by clicking the button to the right.
Development Web Portal
SAWS staff has been working over the past several months to incorporate the meter installation request process into the Development Web Portal. The anticipated roll out for this feature is in the first quarter of 2019. A notification will be sent out when the feature is up and running.
