  • $25 becomes $50
  • $50 becomes $100
  • $100 becomes $200, and so on.

CAMP MASTER PROGRAM
SIGN-UP TODAY

We need you!!! Theodore Roosevelt Council is looking for individuals or teams that would like to serve as a friend at camp on the weekends.

Campmasters are needed on the weekends, to work with units, checking a unit in on Friday night, assisting units during the day on Saturday, to provide a final walk around with the unit on Sunday. This is a great way for you, your family, or your friends to spend an extra weekend at camp!

At Schiff Scout Reservation, Campmasters stay in a cabin that sleeps 4 with hot showers, full kitchen, and a great outdoor setting with 400 acres as your backyard.

At Onteora Campmasters stay in a house, heated, with a full kitchen that sleeps 4 with a great outdoor setting of 1400 acres.

We need your help to be a friendly face, a resource for questions and answers, and hopefully a chance to deliver some special program offerings based on your skills.  As a Campmaster you assist in making the program better for our scouts. Experience is not necessary; we will train you on what to do, what is expected, and we will support you throughout your weekend at camp. For more information, or to sign up for a weekend, please contact Kevin Shea, Camping Assistant kevin.shea@scouting.org or by calling 516-797-7600x108. Get started right away; we have weekends available in the coming months. This is a great chance to have an enjoyable weekend at camp. Contact us now!!
