FDOT PIO Contact Information, District 2
800-207-8236
|
|
I have been in touch with the FDOT about safety and pedestrian crossings on 3rd St (A1A). Since it is a state road, any changes must go through the state, not Jax Beach.
The FDOT is in the process of analyzing the available data on any accidents or reported incidents. However, there are many 'near misses' and other incidents that are not reported.
If you have experienced unsafe conditions when trying to cross 3rd Street, please contact the FDOT with the
date
, a
description of the incident
, and the
location
. This is the only way to ensure that what residents experience in the intersections will be known so that corrections can be made.

Per the current schedule, the beach nourishment placement is expected to be completed along almost all of Jacksonville Beach by about December 12, then moving northward into Neptune Beach." (Update is from from the

Introducing our New City Manager
|
|
Our new City Manager, Mike Staffopoulos, will be starting his new position in late January.
He will be moving from
Largo, FL
, where he has been the Assistant City Manager since 2007 and an employee of Largo since 1999. He has a lot of fresh ideas for our City, and I am sure that you will join me in welcoming him to the beach with open arms!

|
I would like to thank everyone who supported me and my campaign through your words of encouragement, donations, and volunteer hours. I cannot overstate how much it means to me. I would not have been able to win without all of you!
I look forward to serving you for the next four years.
