December 2019
Introducing BramptonU!
BramptonU is a movement to launch Brampton’s own fully-accredited university.

There have been exciting developments in post-secondary education in Brampton with our partners at Ryerson, Sheridan and Algoma. But we want more for our residents.

In September 2019, Brampton City Council took a step towards establishing a Brampton University, with the support of local Provincial representatives and Ministry officials. The Province is interested in further discussions about BramptonU, because it is an innovative post-secondary solution that focuses on training students for the jobs of tomorrow. That’s important, because the Province is the governing body that can make BramptonU happen.

In the coming months , the City will be engaging the community for their active support. Be a part of this exciting movement. [ more... ]
