Consortium of Endowed Episcopal Parishes Conference 2020
On behalf of the nearly 200 parish, cathedral, and institutional members of the CEEP Network, greetings! We are pleased to bring the CEEP Network’s Annual Gathering to the Diocese of Kentucky and Louisville next February 19-22, 2020.
The
Leading Beyond the Walls Annual Gathering will take place next February at the Omni Hotel in downtown Louisville. This year, the gathering is hosted by CEEP Network member Calvary Church Louisville and the opening dinner reception is planned for Christ Church Cathedral.

2020 Congregational Leadership Conference: Register Now
The Diocese will host a Congregational Leadership Conference (formerly known as the "Wardens and Treasurers" conference) at Christ Episcopal Church in Bowling Green on Feb. 15, 10 a.m.- 2:30 p.m. CT. Registration deadline is Friday, February 7th.
This free diocesan event is open to all vestry members (new and experienced), treasurers, stewardship chairs, clergy, audit committee members, and any other congregational leaders interested in this opportunity to share, discover, and learn best practices for the health and growth of our congregations. The conference will include plenary sessions for all congregational leadership in the morning, and various topical breakout workshop components in the afternoon.
The agenda will cover a variety of essential items. (Including: Vestry best practices/responsibilities, D&O insurance, church safety, diocesan and TEC canons, by-laws of TEC, T&C, and churches leadership and management principles, parochial reports, financial reviews, audits, financial best practices/oversight, exemptions, annual filing fees, property tax not automatically exempt with PVA, stewardship, and annual giving campaigns)

Dismantling Racism for Youth
On February 15 there will be an all day workshop/retreat for the youth of our Diocese at Christ Episcopal Church in Bowling Green, Ky. While this is primarily geared towards youth, adults are also invited to attend. Mark your calendars. More information to come.

2019 Commitment Deadline
This is a reminder to congregations that the final 2019 Commitment payment is due no later than December 31st, 2019.

A Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols at Calvary, December 22
Welcome the Christmas season with a service of lessons and carols in the style of the century-old tradition of King’s College, Cambridge. This family-friendly service tells the story of the Fall, the promise of a Messiah, and the Incarnation through Scripture lessons, choral anthems, and congregational carols. All are invited to a reception following the service, and nursery care is provided.

BLUE CHRISTMAS SERVICE AT ST. THOMAS, DECEMBER 22
For some people, Christmas can be a difficult time. It could be that it has always been difficult or it could be because you are experiencing grief, loss, or hardship. During the season of Advent and Christmas we are surrounded by joy even if we don’t feel it ourselves. During the Blue Christmas service there will be space and time to acknowledge our sadness and to know we aren’t alone.
You are invited to a special holiday service designed for those for whom the holiday might be difficult. If you have undergone a difficult loss, transition, or life change, or if you always feel sadness during this time, you are invited to join us for a special time of music and worship. During the service, we can acknowledge our feelings, the reasons for them, and offer them to God.
Join us December 22nd at 6:00pm.

Holiday Hours
The Diocesan Office will be closing Friday, December 20th at 11am through January 1st for Christmas. Normal office hours will resume at 9:30 am January 2nd.
