Pup Patrol    All dogs must be registered at the JBMDL Vet Clinic- 3259 Gettysburg Ave Fort Dix, New Jersey 08640 (609) 562-6636 Dogs must be chipped and wear some type of name tag with their name and phone number of the pups owner. All pups are required to be on a leash at all times unless they are in one of our five dog parks. There are dog stations throughout the community to help  with cleaning up after the pups; please dispose of their mess properly.  Please make sure all dogs have a name tag with a phone number and address in case they get lost from home. Christmas trees are to be disposed of at the Self Help Office Monday-Friday 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Over the past couple of years, we have noticed a lot more trash being disposed during the month of December. In order to prepare for the additional trash, we will be placing 5 open top containers throughout the community. The following trash compactor locations will have the additional open tops:   Fort Dix Hemlock St. #4 Birch St #5   McGuire FCE #6 (Falcon Courts East) Spaatz St #7 Old Self Help #8 (East Castle Street)   Please continue to use the trash compactors for household and bagged trash. The open top containers should be utilized for larger and bulk items such as crates, unwanted furniture etc. Before disposing any furniture, we ask that you check with a fellow neighbor that may be in need. If they are not some organizations that accept donated furniture are:

RECYCLING!  We ask that our residents place their bins out the night before, or morning of scheduled pick-up. The bins should be stored in the garage or back patio of the home, please do not store the bins on front patios or driveways.  Thank you for helping to keep our community beautiful! Temperatures will continue to drop as we get into the winter months, we've noticed a lot of hoses connected to hose bibs throughout the community. We want to make sure everyone is aware that they must be disconnected during the winter months to avoid pipes freezing. As per the resident handbook- DISCONNECT GARDEN HOSES A connected garden hose to an exterior hose bib can cause the pipes inside the wall to freeze and break leading to flooding within the home.
