We were pleased last month when Washington State Parks and the Alberg and Johanson families announced the state’s purchase of the 134-acre Point Lawrence property at the easternmost tip of Orcas Island. We’re hiring an AmeriCorps Field Tech Team Member to help with the Western Bluebird Reintroduction Project and the Island Marble Butterfly Habitat Expansion Project. The position is full-time but temporary, lasting from February through July, 2020.
