The compactor is serviced every Monday until spring. Please don't leave your trash when the compactor is off-site being emptied.

The National Fire Protection Agency has a bulletin high-lighting safety improvement measures in regards to fire-wise properties.

The bulletins

from April to August highlight the latest info on the behavior of wild-fire with suggestions to make your property safer. CLICK HERE to see their studies and also their recommendations!

Don't forget a $50 late fee is assessed after the 15th. Be aware Bank Payer service takes 5-7 business days to process, so request payment on the 1st of each quarter.

SIP 'N' DIP

Thanks to Don & Carol Sass for hosting the October 30th Sip 'n' Dip. Approximately 20 people took part in the event, including 2 new neighbors!

GRAPES & GRUB

Thank you to Lois Linth & Laurie Dowling for hosting the NEW Grapes & Grub event, and for preparing a 3-course meal for all 45 attendees to enjoy!

RENTALS

ARE YOU RENTING YOUR HOME ON A LONG TERM BASIS?

Long-Term renters are coming into the association office, and without notification of the renters, staff are caught off guard.

Covenant 2 states:

" All leases and rental agreements shall be in writing and a copy thereof shall be delivered to the Association before any tenancy commences. Any violation of this Declaration and the Bylaws, rules and regulations of the Association by any lessee or occupant of a Unit shall be deemed to be a violation of the Owner of such Unit and shall be subject to the enforcement procedures."

INTERESTED IN SHORT-TERM RENTING YOUR PROPERTY?

The 2020 application is now available on our website and in the association office.

UPDATES

COVENANT AMENDMENT PROPOSAL

Due to our antiquated Covenants leaving room for varying interpretation, we have conflicting views of their intent among our owners. The Board formed a 13 member committee to draft Covenant amendments. This committee has been working diligently, since May, to provide Covenant Amendments for membership consideration. The next step will be to provide a draft of proposed covenant updates via an online survey, seeking membership feedback . After membership input has been processed, a final draft of the proposed amendments and ballots will be sent to all members for approval or rejection.

Watch your email for the survey in January.

NEW COMPACTOR SIGNAGE

After multiple violations were reported or discovered by staff in 2019, updated signage has been placed as a means to eliminate confusion on what is and isn't allowed in the compactor. Please check with staff if you are uncertain if an item can be disposed of at the association facilities.

Did you know that our Sun Cove is a Firewise Community? We have been re-certified for 2020. Are you prepared for potential wildfires? Use the following checklist to make sure: Firewise Self Assessment

SHOUT OUT

When you patron Lone Pine and Desert Canyon, give them a BIG thank you for their contributions to our 2019 4th of July celebration! Lone Pine supplied the iced beverages, and Desert Canyon supplied the warming ovens.
