Trinity United Methodist Church
The Messenger
December 2019

The Seasons of Advent and Christmas are filled with many opportunities to prepare our hearts for the coming of the Christ Child. Please take a look at the events happening at Trinity and in the other Open Door Churches Churches. Join us when you can!
Brochures are available and this would be a perfect time to share one with someone you know that may not have a church home.  I pray that this time will be meaningful for you.
May God will bless you all during this special time.
       See you in church!

       Pastor Sandy
Worship Service will be on the first Sunday of Advent, December 1, 9:30 a.m. It is based on the tradition of placing evergreen wreaths and trees in the home and preparing for the Christmas season. It includes scripture and hymns and decorating of the Chrismon (symbols of Christ) tree. In hanging the greens we share with Christians throughout the ages the memory and anticipation of Christ's coming. We decorate our church with these symbols: everlasting life, love, joy, hope, peace, light, so then even our decorations proclaim: God is with us! Christ our Savior is born!

Above all else, the message of generosity is a message of joy. While the act of being generous brings great happiness, you experience the deepest joys of generosity through the realization of God's calling for your life.
