Deadline for filling out repertoire online and singing up for Branch Honors and Convention Recitals.
Deadline to change Panel status back to regular CM
You will get the job list in the middle to end of December. I may be needing more studio sites, since our numbers grew from last year that I did not account for. So I may ask you to host if you have done it before.
If you know that a student(s) of yours may need a special time, because they have an allowable excuse, please inform Grace Cheng for South Region, or me for North Region around January, so that we can schedule your student(s) correctly. The only preference request that I let you do on your own is carpool. All other date requests must go through us. You cannot sign up for it yourself. And of course, after the schedule is out, and you find out that your student needs a special time, there is the period of swapping that we allow. So find out early if your student needs a particular time BEFORE we publish the schedule, otherwise you will have to try to swap, which is not a guarantee that you will get your time.
NEW THIS YEAR!! All performance makeups will now be done through the parents and the state office. There will be a designated location and time for them to take a makeup. This is available to all students of all grades. They will announce something in the spring. There is a fee.
Theory makeups are now available to all grades. This date will be announced at the end of test period. The location is my house a always.

The December event will be on Saturday, 12/28/2019 at Aegis Living hosted by Co-President Irene Geng.

The Tenth Annual Kathryn Gawartin Chopin Piano Competition sponsored by the West Los Angeles Branch will be held on Sunday afternoon, February 9, 2020 at Roth Hall, Crossroads School located at 1714 21st Street, Santa Monica, CA 90404.
This is a high calibre cash award competition and is open to all branches of MTAC. Online application will be available early January 2020.
