You are invited to a half-hour interest session about Sacred Ground on Tuesday, January 26 at 6:30 PM Eastern. You can register by filling out the form here.

Sacred Ground is a film- and readings-based dialogue series on race, grounded in faith. Small groups are invited to walk through chapters of America’s history of race and racism, while weaving in threads of family story, economic class, and political and regional identity.

The 10-part series is built around a powerful online curriculum of documentary films and readings that focus on Indigenous, Black, Latino, and Asian/Pacific American histories as they intersect with European American histories.

We are currently planning to form two dialogue circles which will meet via Zoom. The first will meet every other Thursday from 6:30-8:30 PM Eastern, beginning on February 4. The second will meet on the fourth Tuesday of each month from 6:30-8:30 PM beginning on February 23. We may form additional circles if there is sufficient interest.

The Diocesan Staff will begin Christmas break starting at noon on Wednesday, December 23. We will return to work on Monday, January 4th.
