Tuesday Dec. 15 - ONLINE FAMILY SUPPORT GROUP for family members (or close friends with a caretaking role) - meets via Zoom on the third Tuesday of every month, 7:00-9:00 p.m. Everyone on our email list will receive a reminder and instructions how to register for the group the Wednesday or Thursday before. The co-facilitators of the group are Annette Hoffman and Charles Cantelmo. 

Tuesday Dec. 22 - PTS CONNECTION PEER RECOVERY SUPPORT GROUP for veterans, police and first responders recovering from Post-Traumatic Stress as a result of their service.

NAMI Family Support Group is a 60 minute support group for adult friends and family members (18+) of people with mental health conditions. Participants gain support from peers who understand their experience and gain insight into others’ challenges and successes.

WRAP is an evidence-based Wellness Recovery Action Plan developed by Mary Ellen Copeland, PhD. It is a personalized wellness and recovery system born out of and rooted in the principle of self-determination.  

Join Copeland Center for Wellness & Recovery for a 1.5-hour orientation to WRAP provided in an online environment that you can access remotely from wherever you are. Learn what WRAP is and how you can use it to monitor and maintain your own recovery from a mental health condition.

NAMI Family & Friends is a free seminar that informs people who have loved ones with a mental health condition how to best support them. It’s also an opportunity to meet other people in similar situations and gain community support. Led by trained people with lived experience of supporting a family member with a mental health condition, the seminar includes topics such as:

  • Understanding diagnoses, treatment and recovery
  • Effective communication strategies
  • The importance of self-care
  • Crisis preparation strategies
  • NAMI and community resources
