As we launched our Holiday Giving Program with #GivingTuesday last week, we thank you all for the outpouring of respect and love you have shown Ascencia during this time. We understand that times are more challenging now more than ever for all of us which makes your support even more meaningful.

Our priority remains getting people off the streets and into permanent housing. Our approach is whatever it takes. Our response these months has been just that - whatever it takes. We're proud of our staff and our community for rising to the occasion to provide extra support during the holiday season.

We have a goal to raise $40,000 this season and we are more than half way there. Help us reach our goal.
Every gift makes a difference.

Thank you.

When Strength Leads You Home
Clients Geoffrey and Marachelle with the keys to THEIR NEW HOME
Marachelle fell into homelessness after a fallout with her family. For over a year, she survived jumping from shelter to shelter. With severe health conditions and a weak respiratory system, she found herself at Providence St. Joseph's Hospital, who connected Marachelle to Ascencia.

Geoffrey's roommate moved out, leaving him unable to afford his apartment alone on a VONS clerk's salary. In need of help, his sister, Marachelle, connected him to Ascencia and both became residents of Ascencia's emergency shelter.

On #GivingTuesday, Marachelle and Geoffrey moved into an apartment of their own. Merry Christmas, Marachelle and Geoffrey!
Subaru's Noble Gift
Subaru of Glendale Team
Grateful to Subaru of Glendale for donating DOZENS of blankets to support those living on the streets. Winter weather coupled with the increase in COVID cases, this season is even more detrimental to our homeless brothers and sisters. During these unprecedented times, donations like these helps our Outreach Team to provide better support and care for those on the streets.
Bridging a Digital Divide
Ascenica's Administrative Assistant, Habon Nur
Thank you, Bridging Tech, for graciously providing Ascencia with five printers and one scanner for our clients in need. Bridging Tech is a 501c(3) non-profit founded by a group of Stanford students aiming to bridge the digital divide for children experiencing homelessness. Thank you Bridging Tech for supporting the education of our young clients.
