PARCplus: It's Virtual School+Camp!

With schools operating both in-person and virtual classes, we are offering PARCplus, a safe setting that includes online learning plus art, exercise, homework, and more, and now you can register for just the days you need!
- For children in 1st-6th grade
- Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
- Cornelius Arts Center, 19725 Oak Street
- Registration by the day: $25 per child per day for Cornelius residents, and $35 per child per day for non-residents
- Through December 18, 2020, but plans are underway to extend this program into 2021 - stay tuned for more information to follow!
- Masks, laptops, headsets/earbuds, and school supplies required
- Limited scholarships available

Registration will open in December for six-week adult and youth classes beginning in January 2021. (NOTE: The registration dates will differ from those shown on our December calendar above)

Registration is underway for our 19th season of Youth Flag Football. Although we are not able to hold our winter basketball league nor any other indoor sports at this time, we hope you will join us for this inaugural outdoor experience! Registration for this fun, non-contact league is open now through December 14 for boys and girls, ages 6-17. Practices and games will begin in January. Volunteer coaches are needed. $100, $85 with Cornelius resident discount.
We are also offering two pre-season skills clinics to help your child Prepare for the Bear! Tuesday, December 8, and/or Monday, December 14, 4-5:30 p.m. at Bailey Road Park. Space is limited and registration is required. Walk-up registration will only be available if space allows. $7, $5 with Cornelius resident discount.

Register now for either of two Free Clinics for boys in grades 2-6, at Bailey Road Park on December 6 and 13. Equipment provided for those that need to borrow some and though clinics are free, pre-registration is required.
Register now through January 1 for the Winter Season for boys in pre-K through 8th grade. Play begins on January 3.

Camp Gladiator classes are held every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday morning at Bailey Road Park on an ongoing basis. Ages 18 and up, or ages 14-17 when accompanied by a registered parent or guardian. Prices vary - look for monthly specials and get ahead of those inevitable New Year's resolutions!

If you live in Cornelius, you likely use valuable Town services - including parks and greenways, special events, and art and athletic programs, as well as roads, public safety, trash collection, and more - all of which are made possible through our Town budget. The annual budget process establishes our spending and priorities for each fiscal year, which begins July 1 and ends June 30. During this process, Town staff and elected officials discuss proposed expenditures and requests during a series of workshops with the goal of creating a balanced budget that benefits our community.
Critical to this process is input from you - the individuals who live and play in Cornelius. We want your feedback as we decide what programs, services, and priorities to focus on, so as we begin preparations for this process, let us hear from you!
