Our FIRST Alumni Cohort: Penn Medicine Lab Assistants
We had our very first alumni cohort last month! Sixteen WPSI alumni from Allied Universal, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Penn's University Laboratory Animal Resources (ULAR), Chesterbrook Academy, BrightView, and Sodexo came together to complete specialized training with Penn Medicine's team and were hired as Lab Assistants. We are very excited about the success of this program and will be building more cohorts specifically for alumni moving forward. Continuing Education: WPSI's Partnership with Graduate! Philadelphia
We know there are many of you in our alumni community that aspire to continue their education by obtaining or finishing your associate or bachelor's degrees. To support you in these efforts, we have partnered with Graduate! Philadelphia, an organization that specializes in helping adults complete their college degrees.
  
Graduate! Philadelphia offers one-on-one advising throughout the entire process of resuming your eduction, from the initial inquiry to return to school, to navigating the application process and financial aid, to graduation. Graduate! Philadelphia also has established partnerships with local colleges and universities such as Community College of Philadelphia, Temple University, and more. By partnering with this meaningful organization, we hope to assist any alumni interested in continuing their education to reach their goals and open the door for more job opportunities.

If you are currently applying or looking for jobs in a new field, reach out to us to work on updating your resume! 

Directions for resumes:  
In order to receive an updated resume we ask that you do the following: 

  1. Complete a short survey by clicking this link.
  2. Email the resume you received from WPSI to [email protected].
  3. Email a link or copy of the job description you are applying to to [email protected]. 
  4. After all steps are complete, you will receive confirmation from WPSI that your resume is in progress. If we need any additional information from you, we will let you know.  

Resume updates will take 7-10 days. We will let you know if there is any change to that schedule!
