A Message From our President, Frank Bacchus
I hope you are all staying well, and keeping safe. I wanted to provide an update on the status of chapter events. In March, the Board decided that all future events for the chapter would go “virtual” until it was deemed safe to resume in-person meetings.
I am happy to report we are successfully using our newly acquired Zoom license as the premiere platform to host all chapter events. We have also expanded the number of events available to our members to maintain a sense of community. For some of our events, we have waived the registration fee.
Commencing with the November Chapter Meeting (Wednesday, November 18th), the registration fee has been set at a nominal $5.00 for members. This nominal fee has been set to assist in covering some of the chapter’s overhead and to ensure registrants are committed to attending and participating in the chapter meetings. For these chapter meetings, we are also submitting the PDU requests for members (members do not have to self-report).
We have an exciting calendar of upcoming events, and I hope you consider joining us on topics that are timely and relevant to the project management profession.
