I cannot believe it myself -- it doesn't seem that long ago - but December 2021 marks my 20th year teaching golf and establishing SchiavettaGolf Academy at Evies Golf Center! Wow! SchiavettaGolf Academy has grown over the years.
Since that time twenty years ago, I have run into so many people that either I have taught their kids, or have taught them ! - and when I hear that some of those juniors that I taught now have kids of their own -- I really do feel old! :) I have met people from all walks of life, from different places, not only here in the U.S, but all over the world. Giving golf lessons, golf schools, and club fittings to people of all ages, abilities and cultures is never boring. It is a career that I wouldn't have imagined growing up, but I am glad that I spend my working days outdoors and in beautiful Sarasota,Florida!
I am also celebrating my 25th year as a proud member of the PGA of America. It takes a committment to continually improve and learn as I have progressed through my teaching career.
I want to personally thank Mike Evanoff and his family for their support over the years. I appreciate them giving me the reins to be able to establish SchiavettaGolf Academy here at Evies Golf Center. They are a great family and I hope you all get to meet them one day.
We have been through some trying times these past couple of years and as we now are starting to be get back together with our friends and families, I am thankful for what I have, and I have enjoyed every minute of my time with my students. Thank you again for having the confidence in me to improve your golf games.
