Greetings Chamber Members! This time of the year always reminds me of how grateful we should all be to be members of this unique community. One of my favorite things from the past year was getting to meet so many new people and get to know people I have known for years even better. While it has been a weird couple of years, I could not be happier to be where we are today. It has been exciting to learn about the diligent work and endless effort that contributes to the success of new start-ups, seasoned family businesses, non-profits and large companies alike. These last few years have been trying on every group regardless of size, previous success or product. I am so proud of everyone who continues to choose to promote local, shop local and help their fellow humans. Regardless of the size of the organization, the common thread is dedicated, hardworking people that make your business, the Chamber and our community what it is today.
It has been an absolute pleasure to be the Board Chair for the past year and I am excited to pass the baton later this month to Jon Pratscher of the Lisle Park District. Jon brings a new perspective and voice to the Chamber, and I could not be more excited for him to be taking the reins.
I hope that as we move in to 2022, we can start to gather together more and more and return to previous events that we used to know and love every year. I look forward to seeing you all throughout the community as we continue to grow and change together as a community.

As we approach the holiday season, I want to thank you our Members for all of your support over the past years, especially the last 2 years which have been challenging. We see our future bright as we create new opportunities for our Members.
We have set our upcoming Annual Meeting Luncheon at Four Lakes Recreation on Thursday, December 16th. The Annual Meeting will be a hybrid meeting offering the option to attend in-person or virtually via Zoom. We will be inducting our 2022 Board of Directors as well as recognition of the current 2021 Board of Directors. You may sign up online or contact us to register.
Thank you to Christopher Buehler, Four Lakes Recreation, for his leadership, positivity and creativity as the Board Chairman in 2021. Also thank you to all the Board of Directors for their guidance and expertise in moving the Chamber forward. I look forward to working with the new incoming Board Chairman, Jon Pratscher of the Lisle Park District as well as the Board of Directors in 2022.
It is my pleasure each and every work day to work with Claudine Rummer, the Chamber Office Manager. I am thankful to her for helping me represent the Lisle Area Chamber of Commerce and to assist in our Mission, to facilitate, advocate and to cultivate opportunities for the Lisle Area Business Community. Her dedication and work ethic is above and beyond.
Congratulations to Kyle Sullivan and Emily Renn as the 1st Place overall Male and Female runners at our Turkey Trot Tune-Up 5K held the Sunday before Thanksgiving. It was a great race and it was so nice to see everyone come out to take part in our Annual 5K. Thank you runners, volunteers and sponsors for making the event a success!
Finally, I want to wish you and your families the very best this Holiday Season and offer good wishes for a healthy and prosperous 2022.

The Chamber's Annual Turkey Trot Tune-Up 5K took place on Sunday, November 21, 2021 through the beautiful Lisle Community Park. Runners made their way through the winding pathways of the Lisle Community Park course. Thank you to Dan Garvy of the Lisle Park District for event set up and leading the runners on his bike. We also thank the upcoming 2022 Chamber Board Chairman, Jon Pratscher of the Lisle Park District, for helping with the event and announcing the medal winners.
This event would not be the success it is without the Lisle High School, Lisle Teens with Character, Lisle Park District, Lisle Lions Club, Lisle Police Department, Lisle/Woodridge Fire District, our sponsors, volunteers, members and runners.

AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT
Amy Thomas-Stompanato

The featured Ambassador for this month is Amy Thomas-Stompanato of Park East Office Suites. Amy has recently joined the Chamber this past year and then joined the Ambassador Committee.
Amy is the Office Manager at Park East Office Suites and has been with the company for about 10 months. At Park East Offices they offer Virtual Tenants several different options: phone answering; mailing address; or a combination of both. They also offer the ability to use their conference rooms to meet with client in a professional setting. She manages the actual physical tenants and their virtual tenants.
Amy was a previous member of the Lisle Area Chamber with her late husband. They owned a business "ARDS Services" so being an Ambassador was a nice way for Amy to reconnect with many of the Chamber members and the Community.
Amy moved to Lisle in November of 2013. She enjoys traveling, movies and cooking. She has grown twins, a boy and a girl. She also has a shihtzu named Macie who is the sweetest. Amy's favorite bit of wisdom to share is "What you put into this world is what you get back."

All ages are welcome! This free event has become a holiday tradition in Lisle featuring old-fashioned holiday fun for the entire family! This event is in conjunction with the Village of Lisle Santa Parade and Tree Lighting Ceremony.
FREE PARKING is available at Village Hall and in the commuter parking lots.
THIS EVENT FEATURES:
