In early November we were blessed to have our Chinese Academic Dean, Rev. Ricky Poon visit our new office location in Des Moines. Drs. Nick and Leona Venditti accompanied Rev. Poon as well. We were honored to have such special guests.
He spoke at Zion Lutheran Church in Des Moines which is a multi-ethnic congregation and shared a beautiful message on Isaiah 26. We prayed for the persecuted church and for the Lord to direct us all how to better serve Him in these challenging times.
During Rev. Poon's time in, he worked with Cindy Senephansiri, our Production and Shipping, Communication Manager on initiating the IGBC Alumni program which Dr. Don Bryan and Ricky Poon have established. Stay tuned for updates about the development of INSTE's Alumni Program.

This certificate program is structured around four crucial discipleship habits: personal devotions, Bible study skills, relationships, and ministry. This program focuses on the character development of the disciple. Intensive discipleship (being) plus foundational Bible and theological input (knowing) lead to ministry (doing). Each believer has gifts, talents and skills that are to be used in the Kingdom of God. Through this program, maturing disciples find their places in the Body of Christ, in which they can serve the Lord with joy and effectiveness. The base price for a Level 1 course is $90. |
