In the past two years, we have faced many challenges, ranging from Covid to politics, yet you have not let that impact our ability to come together and be successful. We are being told that we must “pick sides” in these challenges, and those in opposition to your personal beliefs are wrong and should be condemned. This is not a belief we hold at Park Construction, nor have we held this belief in over 100 years in business. Our employees are diverse in many ways and is what has helped us survive and thrive over the past century. It is our employees that have made Park Construction an employer of choice.
We naively thought that once we got into 2021 that Covid would go away, the divisiveness would dissipate, and things would go back to “normal”. That did not happen. In 2022, we will continue to face some of the same old challenges but there will be issues we have yet to recognize. I am 100% positive that we will overcome them like we have in the past due to our greatest assets, our employees. With that said, it won’t be easy, and everyone will need to work hard to make next year successful.
You may be asking, “what does success look like?”. I view success as us making safety a core value, ensuring quality is in everything we do, and that we meet/exceed our client’s expectations on project delivery. Meeting all three of these pillars defines us as successful.
As a small token of our appreciation for your hard work, we will be having a holiday party to celebrate. It’s a great time for everyone and I hope to see you there. Have a great Christmas and holiday season and hope to see you soon.
