The program will include an overview of the current state of the cannabis industry in Michigan, how the industry has changed in the past year and the outlook for the next 12 months as the industry continues to evolve. Entering the third year since legalization, the companies that grow, produce and sell marijuana are making some significant changes to their business strategies which will be explored. The industry has gotten increasingly competitive, with hundreds of brands competing for attention. At the same time, relatively few cities in Michigan have opted to allow marijuana sales within their borders.
Included will be the legal and regulatory landscape and challenges for various players in the industry. There will be time for questions & answers at the end of the program.
