Senator Kristin Phillips-Hill, is a member the PA Broadband Dev. Authority and they recently released the Commonwealth of PA Statewide Broadband Plan aimed at improving access to high -speed internet in underserved communities.
The plan focuses on infrastructure and availability, affordability, device and technology access, and digital literacy and technical support. It is estimated that there are 800,000 Pennsylvanians without broadband service. As a reminder, the challenge process is open through Jan. 13, 2023. Search the map here.
