December Newsletter

Dear Bethany Home community,

The holiday season has arrived! The first snow has fallen and Bethany Home continues our 100-year anniversary fundraising campaign to raise money for a new call-light and communication system on our second floor. Our wonderful donors have made a variety of projects including a new van, ice cream machine, the Lincoln Lounge, and renovated second floor in our 1976 building possible in the past with generous donations. We are excited to get a new state of the art call light/communication system in place. Donations can be made on our website, via mail, or in person at the front desk. The staff and residents at Bethany are appreciative of every one of you and all you do!

Our annual Resident Christmas Party will be held on Tuesday, December 20 at 2 p.m., we will have snacks, sing while opening gifts from Santa. Each resident is allowed one guest at the party. If you have any questions regarding the party, please contact the receptionist at 563-556-5233.

The activity staff is starting to decorate for the Christmas season, the Christmas village is set up in the first-floor dining room and various trees are being put up throughout the building. Please feel free to tour the building for decorated trees while you’re here visiting. When all the trees are up there will be a Christmas tree location guide at the front desk.

The Bethany Home family wishes you all a very Happy and Safe Holiday Season!

Stay warm,
