Dear friends,

How did Good King Wenceslas like his pizza?

December is all about the music for us this year, and we don’t just mean caroling. Our resident Children’s Playhouse of Maryland is premiering a brand new musical re-telling of the story of Peter Pan—what a great way to celebrate with a young person in your life! Our talented musicians are offering concerts you don’t want to miss, that will get you in the holiday mood. And if you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind gift, check out the Art Sale featuring original works from our talented Art and Design students.

As we bundle up for the season, we wish you and yours peace, health, and joy in the new year.

And the Good King’s Pizza? He liked it deep pan, crisp, and even.

Neverland

Book, music and lyrics David Evans and

Charlotte Evans Crowley

Uh oh! The Captain has lost his hook!

Travel with us to Neverland in this modernized tale of Peter Pan, set to an original 80s pop score, written by resident musical director Charlotte Evans Crowley and her father, David Evans. You will find all of your childhood favorites revamped, and maybe even meet some new ones! Will Peter, Tink, and the Lost Boys ever find a mother? Can Wendy win Peter’s affection? Will the Croc finally get to eat Hook’s other hand?

It’s a show for all ages. Children will be in awe at the magic of Neverland. Adults will find humor in the 80s/90s references. There will be sequins and glitter. You might even see some rapping, moonwalking pirates.

Don’t miss your chance to catch this truly special, one of a kind production. And really, who stole the Captain’s hook?! Join us on stage this Holiday Season at the Children’s Playhouse of Maryland to find out!
