Lauren Gainey
CYF Administrative Specialist
Hi! My name is Lauren! I am so excited to be joining the family here at Our Saviour's. I love photography, kayaking, traveling, trying new restaurants, helping others in the ways I'm able! It's an instant mood booster for me when I'm able to pay it forward. I have an amazing husband, and a whole slew of kids! I can't wait to meet you all!
As the CYF Administrative Specialist, Lauren works 15-20 hours a week doing administrative support work for our CYF Ministries. She helps with attendance, communications, social media postings, registrations and more.

Abby Paulson
CYF Assistant
Abby is a junior at St. Francis High School. She participates in Track and Field and even went to the State Tournament this past season. Abby is also a Worship Assistant at Our Saviour’s and involved in Lighthouse Ministries (high school ministries at OSLC). Abby attends Our Saviour’s with her parents, Doug and Cindy and has an older brother, Mikkel, who is a student at Eckerd College in Florida
Abby is our program-year CYF Assistant for Kids Ministries on Sundays. She is responsible for set-up and clean-up as well as being available during Kids’ Ministries as a resource and helping hand for our four Sunday morning programs.

Madisen Noreen
CYF Assistant
Madisen is a sophomore at St. Francis High School. She participates in Jazz Band and is starting in Robotics this winter. Madisen is involved in Lighthouse Ministries (high school ministries at OSLC). Madisen attends Our Saviour’s with her parents, Dusten and Alicia and has three brothers – older brother Sam, younger brother Ryan, and a dog named Sterling.
Madisen is our program-year CYF Assistant for Confirmation on Wednesdays. She is responsible for set-up and clean-up as well as being available during confirmation as a resource for guides and youth.

First Communion & "Now Showing"
Congratulations to our young people who shared together in their First Communion experiences in November! We are so proud of you! May you experience the love of God in a new way through the Meal!

Now Showing: "Elf"
December 15, 6-8:30pm
ALL ages are invited for Now Showing! Join together for a themed fun night of snacks, "Elf", and friends!
Those 5th grade and younger need to have an adult attend with them.
$5 person, $20 max/household. Includes: waffle bar with Buddy the Elf's favorite toppings!
Wear your Christmas sweater, pajamas or your favorite Elf costume and bring a sleeping bag, air mattress or some other item to cozy up on.
Sign up on the CYF Board in the rotunda or by emailing Leisha at ltays@oursaviourslc.org so we can plan for food. See you there!

Faithful Fans Startup
Parents/Guardians, Do you have a child or youth in sports, arts, scouts, 4H or other fun activities?
Youth/Children, Are you involved in activities outside of church?
We, as your church family, would love the opportunity to support you in your activities and these places where you are living out your faith!
Send your schedule (to Leisha Tays, CYF Innovator, ltays@oursaviourslc.org ) for the season, performances, etc. along with a list of who all from Our Saviour’s is involved in that specific activity (if you know of any others). We will then invite Faithful Fans to come together and support your young person!

Blue Christmas Worship
Blue Christmas Worship, Thurs. Nov. 30, 6:30 pm.
At Our Saviour’s, we realize that the holidays can be difficult for many. If you have experienced the death of a loved one, a divorce, loss of health or job, or are dealing with any sort of challenge in life, come and gather with others who are struggling and hungering for a glimpse of hope. Invite people you know who are in a similar situation – all are welcome. The light of Christ shines in the darkness. Come and see.

Christmas Extravaganza!
Friday, December 8, 6:30pm
Everyone is invited for some holiday fun. Join the merriment and good cheer. Christmas Extravagaza is part raucous singing, part hilarious shenanigans, and part boisterous community event. The festivities begin with a carol singalong and an ugly Christmas sweater contest. Prizes, games, a Christmas Pig photo booth, Christmas cookies, s’mores, & hot chocolate will also be available, along with a bake sale hosted by the youth. Bring your kids, your grandma, and your ugly sweaters – there is fun for all ages! The only cost is a non-perishable item for North Anoka County Emergency (NACE) Food Shelf.

2:30 & 4:30 pm Band-led Christmas Worship with Children’s Message
9:00 pm Organ-led Christmas Worship.
There will be candlelight and Communion at every service.

8:30 am Christmas Morning (Julotta) Worship at the Chapel (2200 Swedish Dr., Ham Lake). Julotta is the Swedish word for Christmas Morning.

Confirmation-Hosted FMSC
Thursday, January 11, 6:45pm-8:45pm
Ages 5 + are welcome! Need to be 5 years old to participate with parent and need to be 6th grade to participate without parent/guardian.
We will meet to check-in at 6:45 p.m. at the Coon Rapids Feed My Starving Children Location. Our shift is from 7:00 p.m.- 8:45 p.m. Pickup is at 8:45 p.m.

Participants are responsible for providing their own transportation.
Feed My Starving Children takes monetary donations and also has a store available on site. Purchases benefit the organization and the people around the world that they serve. Participants welcome to bring money to donate or shop in the store on site.

Bible Live & Young Samaritans in Worship!
For all Bible Live and Young Samaritans who are interested, we have an opportunity to do the Christmas story in worship on Sunday, December 17th. If you are interested, you need to be available for both of the dates/times below:
Saturday, December 16th, 9am-11am - Rehearsal
Sunday, December 17th, 8am-11:30am - Rehearsal and Worship

Mark Your Calendars for Serving Dinner!
Any adult (18+) family member of students is welcome to fulfill this role! Please plan to be at OSLC by 5pm to serve from 5-5:50pm. Then from 5:50-6pm to sell any potential leftovers.
If you are unable to attend your scheduled time, please try to find another family to help out in your place.
