Winter Clothing Basket
If you have spare hats, gloves, mittens, or scarves that are still in great shape, we welcome you to bring them to the library's main checkout desk. We'll have a "Winter Clothing Basket" conveniently located in our lobby throughout the chilly season. This is a place for community members to donate and collect these essential winter items. Your kind contributions can make a world of difference in keeping our friends and neighbors toasty during the frosty months ahead.

A Note from Miss Sparkles | | |
|
|
Dear Library Patrons,
After many years of reading, singing, and drumming with so many of you, I am excited for my next chapter in life.
I have loved being able to foster the love of reading and spark imaginations for over 14 years as the “story-timer” at the Bismarck Library. I really do tell everyone, “I get to read books and give hugs! What’s better than that?” Every child and family holds a special place in my heart.
I will continue to be one of the library’s most prominent advocates, and I know the next “story-timer” will make it their own and inspire the future readers of Bismarck.
My deepest gratitude to the entire community who have supported me and welcomed me into their weekly family routines. I have become a part of so many of your families and am forever blessed! Although Miss Sparkles will no longer be at the library, she will still very much be part of the community!
I look forward to spreading the love of books and reading everywhere I go and continuing to sparkle!
With Love, Miss Sparkles
