Dear friends and supporters,
Thanks to everyone who came out to support our Youth Ensemble Holiday Concert on November 18th, featuring the Redwing, Swallowtail, Starling and Advanced Youth Ensembles. If you missed the live show, you can still watch the streamed show on our YouTube channel here. (The music starts at the 24:00 minute mark) Thanks also to the volunteers, staff and instructors who made the concert such a celebratory afternoon.
Another round of gratitude goes to you, our steadfast supporters, for sharing your passion for the CIM's mission with support on Give to the Max Day. Thanks to you, we surpassed our $10,000 Give to the Max Day goal and raised over $12,000 in support of traditional Irish music education!
This month, we are having fun strategic planning, putting together class ideas for the spring term (starting January 29th), and getting ready for our Fall recitals starting this Sunday, December 3rd. The recitals are open to the public, and will be streamed live as Zoom webinars. If you are interested in taking lessons or classes, don't hesitate to come by and say hello. We'd love to meet you.

UPDATE ON NEW ENTRANCE CONSTRUCTION | |
As part of our Making Room for the Next Generation Expansion & Improvement project, the CIM is building a handicapped accessible entryway to our space, increasing access to our classrooms and the entire Celtic Junction building.
The ramped entrance is built and we're thrilled with the welcoming open feel, and the natural light shining through the lower lobby gathering space. Next steps include installing external signage, ADA signs pointing to the wheelchair lift and final interior decor.
We look forward to giving you our final progress report in January! For now, check out photos of the new mini-stage in the Scanlan Music Hall and a pic of 9 handsome musicians in the new alcove.
