Meet Emily Kendall

Doctoral Student

Emily, our newest doctoral student, joined the Zarrow Institute in the Fall of 2023 and is pursuing a PhD in Special Education. Emily obtained her bachelor's degree in Special Education with a minor in Autism Studies from Liberty University and her master's in Special Education with a severe/profound disabilities concentration from Johns Hopkins University. She has taught preschool-aged students as well as special education in juvenile corrections institutions. Her research interests include literacy, correctional education, military recruitment, and motivated learning pedagogy.
