Westfield Writers Group

December 7 at 1:00 PM (SPECIAL DATE!)

In December we will be celebrating with a White Elephant Gift Exchange! If members wish they may write a short Christmas memory to share with the group. Gifts should be attractively wrapped and they are to be true "white elephants," something lying around the house that needs to be regifted, especially if it's quirky, amusing or simply impractical.

Wanted: Writers or want-to-be writers who have a story or memoir they would like to write, an interest in different styles of writing, a wish to interact with other writers and a desire to write in a non-judgmental environment.

This is a 'just-for-fun' group. We're not professional writers. The intent is not to teach you to write but to encourage you to write something each month. Prompts are constructed with the hope that you will be inspired to write on a broad range of topics.

Email librarian@wwpl.lib.in.us to be put on the email list for meeting reminders and for the writing prompts we will be using each month.

Library Board Meeting

Visit our website for details. Library Board will meet in-person and via Zoom.

Hurry Up & Wait!

You may now reserve soon-to-be-released books before they are officially published. Each month we will have several upcoming and sure-to-be popular titles that will be available to reserve in our online catalog, even before they are published. A current list of upcoming new releases is posted at the library, or you can call our reference desk for more information at 317-896-9391.
