The redemptive work of Christ finds its ultimate fulfillment in the future resurrection and glorification of the saints, when the effects of sin are completely removed, and believers are fully conformed to the image of Christ.

When Jesus delivers a blind and mute man from demon possession, the Pharisees accuse the Son of God of being in league with Satan. Jesus' response not only shows how wrong they are; it offers dramatic evidence that the Holy Spirit is at work within him to declare the arrival of the kingdom of God.
